My love...would you be there for me,
When I can't walk straight or sleep,
When I wake up in the middle of night?
Crying and shaking to see the light?
When my fears become too many,
And I can't take a decision or be canny,
Would you hug me tight?
And tell me thats its all going to be alright?
When my eyes look hollow and my heart feels heavy,
And I can't hold my pride up for it becomes too hard to carry,
Would you carry my weight on you?
Making me smile, kissing me out of the blue?
When my eyes get hooded from the lack of sleep,
And I can't help but sob and weep,
Would you lay me down and kiss my eyes?
Holding me in your arms, shielding me from all the lies?
When I feel broken from inside,
And just want to run and hide,
Would you pick the broken pieces up?
To glue them again, to help me survive?
When my heart bleeds and mind cries,
And I can feel on me, everyone's eyes,
Would you hold my hand?
So that I don't have to show, or to pretend?
When I am afraid to go underwater,
In the fear of being drowned or slaughtered,
Would you teach me how to swim?
To let go of the fears, and to win?
When I crumble down on the floor,
And everyone calls me emotional or bore,
Would you cuddle me inside the blankets?
Under the moonlight, loving me best?
When I push everyone away,
To protect myself from getting slayed,
Would you be my conscience?
Loving my soul and being kind?
When I don't trust anyone due to fear,
And everyone close to me just steers clear,
Would you stay by my side?
Even when all I want to do is push you away and hide?
When I show you my vulnerable side,
And in your honesty I confide,
Would you still be with me and love me more?
Rather than leaving me at the shore?
I am not perfect, I don't want to be,
I just wish there was someone who would look beyond my body, at me.
Would you give us a chance, will you see?
My love...Would you be there for me?
